Help Us Create a Sustainable Future

In the pursuit of a sustainable future, waste management plays a crucial role, and we at ARC recognise its importance. Waste can be used as a productive resource, with enough knowledge cultivated through public awareness initiatives. Not only do we carry out waste recycling wherever we can, we also spread sustainable practices to the communities and institutions.

The issue in detail

Be the change you want to see” is something our founder has always lived by- his first waste management initiative started by converting his household into an almost waste zero home. We hold workshops and awareness camps in schools, households, and rural communities to explain eco-friendly ways of waste management. Step by step guidance is given for the processes of composting, waste segregation, and conversion of household bio-waste into usable manure, thus enabling a large population to reduce their waste contribution to landfills.

Our Major Milestones

We have collaborated with Sashakt Foundation to adopt an entire village and regularly manage waste collection, segregation, and recycling for them.

Land reclamation by recycling waste has resulted in us restoring about 8 acres of land. Our founder came up with a way to put waste foundry sand to good use by filling in the ravine areas of air force stations with this sand and restoring land usability, significantly reducing soil erosion and saving costs.

Contributing to the Prime Minister’s initiative of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, we started a series of “Walk with a purpose” ARC walks, where the participants helped clean up plastic and other waste and sent it for proper disposal. Along with children from NCC, cleanliness drives were carried out in villages that improved sanitation conditions significantly and made the communities come together for cleanliness.
